Always a wonderful privilege to look back on a successful season and this year we could certainly do that. So wonderful to have so many club members join in Saturday’s Golden Gala celebrations!!
A big thank you to former Australian Dolphins team members and our guest panellists for the night – Sam Sheppard, David Schlicht and Jemma Schlicht. Incredibly fortunate to have these three there sharing so honestly about the highs and lows of training and competing.
Thank you also to MC, David Hay and Alex Robson and her phenomenal organising committee for another brilliant evening.
We were honoured to have a few Life Members join us – Katrina & Anthony Schlicht, Sharon Brian, Lauren McLaverty and David Schlicht – thank you for your continued support for the club.
A special thank you to Lauren who also presented her namesake trophy to this year’s winner, Will Cao.
Wonderful to have our coaching team there as well and welcome to the newest members of the team – Shay Mansell and Mel Klamt!
To all our coaches, swimmers and their parents – well done on your achievements during the 2022/23 season and congratulations to our Swimmers of the year, Alannah Torrance and David Schlicht; and to all our 2022/23 season award* winners :
