Following the success of the Age group team at the Australian Age Championships, our crew of Open athletes took to the stage on the Gold Coast to show the fruits of their training at the Australian Open Championships. Our 10-strong team was the largest Open representation MLC has ever had, and the team should be commended on their comradery reaching this stage together.
The Australian Open Championships saw the best swimmers in Australia – as well as some world-class international athletes – battling it out in the pool as a prelude to Olympic Trials and the 2024 Paris Olympic Games to come later this year. It was an incredible experience for our athletes and a huge opportunity for growth and development. Congratulations to all of our athletes, in particular our finalists below:

Sam Mathieson 100 and 200 breast Age finals
