It was great to see current and ex-MLC Aquatic athletes and parents competing at the Pier to Pub today! The event made great viewing for spectators and supporters, including Noah Millard leading the men through to the wave zone, Sam Sheppard finishing 2nd in the men’s Superfish, using his knowledge of the conditions to catch a great wave out the back whilst training two sessions per week these days!
Congratulations to Mackie Hunter – 1st Junior and 1st Female in the 1.2km event and 2nd in the Superfish, and Charlie Millard – 3rd Open Women!
And our team were fortunate to have Australian Dolphin (and P2P winner) Lani Pallister hanging out in our tent too! Well done all! Thank you to David Hay for getting the team tent sorted!
