We are pleased to announce that last month Mel Klamt has accepted the role of Head of Swimming (former Head Coach role) at MLC and MLC AQUATIC.
Since joining MLC in 2023, Mel has had an undeniable positive influence on all athletes and coaches she has worked with. Mel’s ability to coach athletes to success at all levels, within a supportive, structured, organised environment is a reflection of her passion for the sport of swimming and her ability to get the best out of everyone.
Alongside her achievements here at MLC, Mel has been recognised in 2025 by Swimming Victoria, in winning the President’s trophy and being selected onto multiple Victorian teams and squads, by Swimming Australia in her selection onto the W32 project and Performance Coach camp and by the AIS in gaining selection into the ASPIRE program for leading female coaches.
