What an incredible opportunity for Abbey, Lucy and coach Mel, who spent the past week at the Next Wave Invitational at the AIS.
Bringing together some of Australia’s most promising young swimmers and emerging coaches from across the country, the week was filled with opportunities to train, race, learn and connect.
Reflecting on the experience, Mel shared:
“It was fantastic to see Abbey and Lucy embrace every opportunity, step outside their comfort zones and represent MLC Aquatic with enthusiasm and professionalism. Experiences like this are a reward for their hard work and commitment, and we’re excited to see them bring their learnings and experiences back to the team.”
